December current account deficit at 1.71 bln, worst for eight years
Greece posted a current account (C/A) deficit of 1.71 billion euros in December, from 2.52 billion euros in November, Bank of Greece (BoG) data showed on Monday.
In December 2020, the balance showed a deficit of 639.4 million euros, while in December 2019 the current account posted a deficit of 572.3 million euros.
