As restrictions drop away, Apr travel balance beats even pre-Covid levels

Greece’s travel balance recorded a surplus of 432.1 million euros in April, from 77 million euros in March, according to Bank of Greece (BoG) data released on Tuesday.
April’s balance was significantly higher than the 3.2 million euros registered in April 2021, it is also higher than the 4.9 million euros recorded in April 2020, the first full month impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
