Despite solid annual growth of 28.1 pct, import prices record first back-to-back monthly drop since 2020
Greece’s import price index grew at a solid pace in July, recording a rise of 28.1 percent year-on-year (YoY), according to data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Friday.
The index has been slowing down for three months in a row, from the 39.1 percent peak rise in April, with rises of 37.7 percent in May, and 32.8 percent in June.
