Building activity back to growth in Aug, but year-to date remains subdued

Building permits growth in August resumed the growth trajectory with a rise of 12.6 percent year-on-year (YoY), after dropping by 2.3 percent in July, according to the latest data released by the Hellenic Statistical Agency (ELSAT) on Monday.
The total number of permits issued in August reached 1,685, from 1,496 in August 2021.
