Drop in industrial turnover accelerates in June, falling by 17.2 pct YoY
Greece’s industrial turnover went further into contraction in June, dropping by 17.2 percent year-on-year (YoY), from a 13.5 percent decrease in May, according to data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Friday.
This is the third successive annual drop, something not seen since early 2021. April was the first negative reading since February 2021. The index has also been recording much more modest growth rates in recent months.
