Industrial turnover drops by 10.2 pct in Jul, driven by foreign markets and manufacturing
Greece’s industrial turnover remained in contraction in July, dropping by 10.2 percent year-on-year (YoY), from a 16.3 percent decrease in June, according to data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Wednesday.
This is the fourth successive annual drop, something not seen since early 2021. April was the first negative reading since February 2021. The index has also been recording much more modest growth rates in recent months.
