Building activity resilient, permits higher by 11.1 pct up to July
Building permits remained on a solid footing in July, rising by 7.5 percent year-on-year (YoY), after a rise of 13 percent in June, according to the data released by the Hellenic Statistical Agency (ELSTAT) on Friday.
Permits have been growing annually this year except in February, which saw the first annual decline since July last year. July growth is also less than half the 15.8 percent rise that was recorded in May.
