Industrial production jumps by 10.8 pct in Apr due to electricity and manufacturing
Greece’s Industrial Production Index (IPI) turned positive in April with a significant rise of 10.8 percent year-on-year (YoY), after a contraction of 0.6 percent in the previous month, according to Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) data released on Monday.
After three consecutive drops in the middle of last year, the index has been growing since August 2023, with March being the first negative print since.
