Led by energy, producer prices drop by 0.7 pct YoY in June
Greece’s Producer Price Index (PPI) remained in contraction in June, dropping by 0.7 percent year-on-year (YoY), after falling by 1.4 percent in May, ELSTAT data showed on Tuesday.
The index had been growing over a two-year period since March 2021, before it turned negative in March last year and has been in contraction since, although most of the base effects had been wearing off.
