CPI at 2.6 pct in Dec, housing costs climb by 3.7 pct

The growth in Greece’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) picked up slightly in December with a rise of 2.6 percent year-on-year (YoY), from 2.4 percent in the previous month, according to the data released on Monday by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

The average CPI for the rolling 12-month period which in this case captures 2024 was 2.7 percent, from 3.5 percent average in 2023.
