Hiring balance turns negative in Dec, 2024 balance down by 46,300 jobs
Greece’s employment balance ended 2024 with a negative balance, as there were 14,218 more departures than hires in December, according to data from the Labour Ministry’s Ergani information system.
The hiring balance in December last year was positive by 18,496 more hires, leading to a year-on-year deterioration in December of 32,714 less jobs.
