CPI at 2.7 pct in Jan as rent rise of 9.2 pct highlights housing cost difficulties
The growth in Greece’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) continued the moderate upward trend in January with a rise of 2.7 percent year-on-year (YoY), from 2.6 percent in the previous month, according to the data released on Friday by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
The average CPI for the rolling 12-month period was unchanged from the previous figure at 2.7 percent.
