Building activity starts 2026 strongly with 15.4 pct YoY rise in Jan
Building activity picked up pace in January, with a rise of 15.4 percent year-on-year, after an increase of 0.9 percent YoY seen in December, according to the data released by the Hellenic Statistical Agency (ELSTAT) on Tuesday.
The total number of permits issued in January reached 2,034, from 1,762 in January 2025.
