Industrial production falls by 5.1 pct in September for seventh straight drop
The Greek Industrial Production Index (IPI) posted a decline for the seventh successive month in September, dropping by 5.1 percent following an upward revised 5.9 percent decrease in August, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
The September figure is the eighth negative reading in the 9-month period (only February registered a marginal growth of 0.3 percent) and the 18th in the 21 months since the beginning of 2013.
