Drop in CPI accelerates to 0.7 pct in Jan
Following a deceleration in the preceding three months, the fall in the Greek Consumer Price Index (CPI) accelerated to 0.7 percent in January from 0.2 percent in December, according to Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) data that was published on Wednesday.
After a short-lived rise of 0.4 percent in December for the first time since February 2013, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) eased 0.1 percent in January.
