The release of the 2015 detailed general government figures by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) revealed some interesting findings on the evolution of the key annual figures.

The slight rise in the course of 2015 mostly reflects an increase in capital transfers by 1.53 billion to 10.37 billion and in social benefits by 596 million to 39 billion.
