Net job hirings hit 33,608 in June, highest since 2001

The employment balance remained positive for the fifth straight month showing net hirings of 33,608 in June 2016, up by 25,018 compared to the corresponding period last year, the Labour Ministry’s information system (Ergani) data displayed on Friday.
On the flipside, the highest net departures were by far posted in education (-45,141) and are largely attributed to the end of the school year.
