PPC general meeting approves unbundling of ADMIE

The Public Power Corporation (PPC) held an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Tuesday that approvedĀ the unbundling of the Independent Power Transmission Operator (ADMIE), which is fully owned by PPC.

The EGM was initially postponed for a few hours following a proposal by the state, which is the major shareholder in PPC, controlling 51.1 percent of its shares.
