Unemployment rate up to 23.6 pct in Q4, down to 23.5 for 2016

The Greek non-seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate increased to 23.6 percent in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2016 from 22.6 percent in Q3, Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) figures showed on Thursday.
Overall, the average unemployment rate dropped to 23.5 percent in 2016, from 24.9 percent in 2015, leaving it at its lowest level since 2011 when it stood at 17.9 percent.
