Net job hirings reach new high of 89,534 in May, 5-month figure a record

The employment balance stayed positive in May 2017 with net hirings climbing by around 13,000 to 89,534 from 76,591 a year ago, data from the Labour Ministry’s Ergani information system revealed on Wednesday.
It is worth noting that May has had a positive employment balance over the last 17 years.
