Greek Parliament debated on Friday SYRIZA’s proposal, backed by other opposition parties as well, for an inquiry into almost 40 million euros handed out by the government to local media firms, which New Democracy’s rivals claim was a thinly disguised attempt to influence coverage in the conservatives’ favour.
