Despite discussions between International Monetary Fund and eurozone representatives about the Greek programme in Washington over the past few days, the two sides still seem far apart on how to progress.

The IMF’s European Department director Poul Thomsen provided an update on the fund’s views regarding the latest developments during a press briefing at the IMF Annual Meeting in the US capital on Friday.
