Arrears clearance meets September target, unlocks latest tranche
The European Commission (EC) published a note for the Eurogroup Working Group on Tuesday regarding the monitoring of net arrears clearance in the July-September period.
Its positive assessment paved the way for a decision by the Board of Directors of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) earlier today on the disbursement of 1.7 billion dedicated for arrears clearance.
