Flurry of bills due in Parliament as legislative work resumes

Following the Christmas break, parliamentary activity is due to resume this week and the government has a series of bills that it aims to pass through the House over the coming days.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has referred to the need for a “wave of changes” as part of Greece’s modernisation effort and some of the legislation due to be put before MPs this month is regarded as potentially transformative by the government.
