Job market slows this year as 67,202 fewer jobs created up to Oct

Greece’s employment balance went into deep negative territory in October as there were 115,856 more departures than hires in the labour market, according to data from the Labour Ministry’s Ergani information system.

In September, the balance had turned positive with 26,238 more hires than departures, while there was a deterioration by 45,808 fewer jobs compared to the negative 70,048 balance of October 2021.
