The budget primary balance in January was confirmed to be a surplus of 2.77 billion euros, compared to a surplus of 15 million euros in the same month of 2022, according to the final Finance Ministry (MoF) budget execution data released on Tuesday.
In the first month of the year, the budget outperformed by 626 million euros.
