Travel balance up by 81.4 pct in November, foreign arrivals increase

Greece’s travel receipts increased by 81.4 percent year-on-year in November, compared to a rise of 14.2 percent noted in October, Bank of Greece (BoG) data revealed on Tuesday.

Receipts came to 225.1 million euros for the month, while payments fell by 26 percent to 122.6 million. This brought the travel surplus to 102.5 million compared to 56.5 million for the same period last year.
