Credit contraction in the Greek market came to 1.1 percent in December compared to a contraction of 1.4 percent seen in November, Bank of Greece (BoG) figures showed on Monday.
As a result, the outstanding balance decreased to 170.29 billion from 173.47 billion in the previous month and stayed under the 180-billion euro mark for nine consecutive months.
