The next meeting of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan in September is expected to define both the course of Greek-Turkish relations and developments on the Cyprus issue.

Athens is not getting its hopes up, especially following statements from Turkish officials during the weekend, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
