Athens eyes enhanced diplomatic role after hosting Zelensky and Balkan leaders
The informal dinner hosted in Athens on Monday by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis sought to strengthen one of Greece’s main diplomatic aims, which is to regain not only its role as a bridge between the European Union and the Western Balkans, but to extend this connection to Eastern Europe.
