Greece is to make vaccination against Covid-19 compulsory for frontline healthcare staff in a final effort to boost immunity coverage in critical sectors.

At the same time, the government is adding to the pressures and inducements on the general population in an effort to pick up the pace of vaccination which has been flagging in recent weeks in the face of a dramatic escalation in infections.
