The government is stepping up its criticism of Greece’s far-right parties, which New Democracy sees as a greater threat currently than the parties to its left.
It was notable that during Monday’s regular press briefing, government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis made a point of responding to a recent attack from MEP Afroditi Latinopoulou, who heads the nativist Voice of Reason party.
