The farmers’ protests dominating Greece’s national roads and border crossings have become the defining domestic challenge of this festive period for Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. In a televised interview on Monday, he sought to project steadiness: no cabinet reshuffle, no retreat from fiscal discipline, and no tolerance for what he defines as tactics that paralyse the country.
