The emergence of two new parties - Alexis Tsipras’s ELAS and Maria Karystianou’s Elpida - have disrupted the pre‑election landscape, forcing the government to accelerate its strategic planning and pushing PASOK into a defensive posture.
A new poll, conducted on the back of last week’s ELAS launch, confirms that the political field is shifting at speed, with consequences for New Democracy and PASOK.
