The coalition has come under pressure from the opposition to clarify its stance on negotiations with Skopje over the Macedonia name issue after junior coalition partner Panos Kammenos reaffirmed his hardline position on the matter.
Defence Minister Kammenos held a news conference on Wednesday to discuss a wide range of issues but his comments regarding the resumption of talks with the new government in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) attracted most attention.
