Leaders present voters with stark choices as campaign reaches climax
The campaign for the European and local elections is set to reach its climax on Friday, when Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis will deliver their final speeches amid mixed signals about the final result from the opinion polls.
In a live interview with SKAI TV on Thursday, Mitsotakis suggested that he is taking it as a given that his party will win the European vote on Sunday. He noted that “everybody is talking about the winning margin, and not who will win.”
