Current account deficit increases to 767.4 mln in Oct as service surplus shrinks
Greece’s current account (C/A) balance in October posted a deficit of 767.4 million euros, up from a deficit of 498.8 million in September, according to a Bank of Greece (BoG) release on Monday.
In October last year, the balance had a milder deficit of 677.7 million euros, suggesting that some normality returned to the balance of payments, after taking a severe hit from the pandemic in the preceding months.
