Energy fuels producer price fall of 8.9 pct in Nov, but non-durable consumer goods keep rising

Greece’s Producer Price Index (PPI) contracted for the ninth successive month in November, dropping by 8.9 percent year-on-year (YoY), after falling sharply by 13.5 percent in October, ELSTAT data showed on Friday.
The index had been growing over a two-year period since March 2021, before it turned negative in March this year. In January 2021 the index was just under 100 points, and at 136.75 percent in November this year.
