Affected by drop in fuel sales, rise in retail figures moderates to 1.2 pct YoY

Greece’s retail sales slowed significantly with a rise of 1.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) in March, after growth of 6.3 percent in February, Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) data showed on Friday.

The corresponding volume index also had a modest rise of 0.3 percent YoY, from 5.6 percent in February.
