Waiters and chefs lead May hiring balance to highest on record
Greece’s employment balance was strong as is usually the trend in May with 137,841 more hires than departures, according to data from the Labour Ministry’s Ergani information system.
The hiring balance in May last year was also strong, with 126,660 more hires. This led to a year-on-year rise of 11,181 jobs and this year is a new monthly record, breaking last year’s high.
