Energy drives drop of 2.1 pct YoY in producer prices at close of 2025
Greece’s Producer Price Index (PPI) closed last year with a drop of 2.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) in December, after a marginal increase of 0.1 percent in the previous month, ELSTAT data showed on Thursday.
The previous month was the first positive reading after four consecutive drops, and six increases in the first half of the year. The index had an extensive period of contraction that started in March 2023, until the end of 2024.
