Jan-Nov budget primary surplus surges to 7.4 bln on solid revenue performance

Greece’s budget primary surplus jumped to 7.42 billion euros in the 11-month period of 2016, up by almost 71 percent from last year’s figure of 4.34 billion, the Finance Ministry (MoF) final budget execution bulletin showed on Thursday.

The headline figure is 33 million lower than the preliminary data published on December 14.
