Just under three weeks are left before the Cyprus Conference on January 12 in Geneva, which is seen as crucial for the fate of reunification talks.
According to sources, the conference is expected to lead to an agreement on the difficult issues of security and guarantees but will not entail the final round of Cyprus talks. Instead, it will be the beginning of a new and final negotiation process.
