Monday’s TV interview, in which PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis angrily dismissed the latest round of revelations on the surveillance of public figures as unsubstantiated, failed to put an end to the pressure he is receiving on the subject.
If anything, his responses opened a new round of criticism from his political opponents, while it is becoming apparent that the cloud hanging over the affair is creating unease within his own party.
