As the elections approach, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is seeking to ensure that his ruling New Democracy party is not at odds with any significant section of the electorate.

Mitsotakis announced at a party gathering on Sunday that his government will arrange a one-off support package for pensioners who did not see their retirement pay increase in January because of the so-called “personal difference”.
