A surprise appearance by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the informal summit of Balkan states in Athens gave Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis some brief respite from the troubles that have beset his government at the start of its second term.
Opposition parties, however, are casting doubt on his achievements on the diplomatic front, while chastising the government for failing to control the latest outbreaks of wildfires across the country.
