Greece’s efforts over the weekend to reach a deal with its lenders fell slightly short on Monday and it appears that a few more days will be needed before there can be a chance of an agreement.
Athens was reported to have put together supplementary proposals aimed at bridging its differences with the institutions by accepting some of the pension reforms demanded by lenders and scrapping several tax loopholes.
