New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke to his MPs for the first time on Thursday, setting out his immediate priorities as the party’s new president.

As expected, Mitsotakis was heavy in his criticism of the government and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, insisting that under his leadership New Democracy would be a thorn in the coalition’s side.
