A rare live TV appearance by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Monday night provided little information regarding how his government might conclude bailout negotiations with its lenders or tackle the growing refugee crisis.

However, the interview did reveal that Tsipras’s administration seems to be heading for a potentially defining clash with one of the country’s main media barons.
