The timing of the next general elections is back on the lips of Greek politicians, with both SYRIZA and New Democracy fuelling talk of when the next vote might be held.

Last week, opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis threw down the gauntlet and challenged Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to hold elections in September and test whether the Greek electorate will agree with his claims that the country is turning a corner.
